Hasselblad is making good on its pledge to build out its family of native XCD lenses for its mirrorless X1D medium format camera.
The first of four new lenses, due in June, will be the XCD 120mm Macro lens. It will offer an aperture range of f/3.5-32 and a magnification of 1:2. It has a minimum object distance of 0.43m.
Like the other XCD lenses, XCD 120mm Macro lens has an integral central shutter offering a full flash synchronization up to 1/2000 sec.
Pricing was not announced.
Details on the other new lenses weren’t fully fleshed out but over the next 12 months you can expect the XCD 35-75mm Zoom, a XCD 65mm, and a XCD 22mm.
