Cradles to Crayons holiday campaign.
As a photographer Kim Lowe knows it's very helpful to have a past life as an Art Director. Some local publications were kind enough to offer Cradles to Crayons free ad space this holiday season. Cradles to Crayons (C2C) was founded in 2002 with the mission of providing kids with some of the most basic things in life free of charge. They partner with other social organizations to provide kids with clothes, school supplies, toys and all the physical goods that kids need to feel safe and protected from the elements. Lowe helped C2C fill their ad spaces by creating ads for them with a picture, a quick line and a little design work. The ads will run in Boston Business Journal, Boston Parents Paper, on billboards and in Old Navy stores all over the Northeast. Lowe also did the cover shoot of Clara from The Nutcracker for Boston Parents Paper. She actuall did the shot ina dance studio this past October when the Northeast had a major snowstorm. The dance studio lost electrical power and Lowe was forced to shoot in the dark. You'd never know from the photo! See more about these and other recent assignments on her blog.
