Boston-based scenic, landscape and architecture and interiors photographer Jim Lafond-Lewis has been working on an environmental project to raise awareness of Fowl Meadow, a watershed of the Neponset River and one of Massachusetts' most beautiful and threatened ecosystems. In addition to photographing the area, he has created a blog and  has also put his feet in the bog to clean up years of debris and  toxic waste. He even discovered an unexploded mortar.  he hopes to to raise  awareness to beauty and filth and the effect one person can have on a degraded environment. Follow him on twitter @JimLaFondLewis.
