MTV is behind the scenes  with a video of award-winning advertising portrait, lifestyle and entertainment shooter Ian Spanier  on  his photo shoot of  Pauly D and his new series The Pauly D Project.  Spanier got to capture DJ Pauly D, housemate  on  MTV's Jersey Shore,  as he was being prepped with makeup and hair  for his new series, airing March 29th at 10: 30 PM.   The Pauly D Project will give viewers an inside look at Pauly D's life away from Seaside Heights, NJ, as cameras document his transition from a world-famous housemate to a world-class DJ with his best friends from his home state of Rhode Island. The 12-episode series will have his trademark humor, swagger and distinctive haircut.  Viewers will get to see Pauly D chase his dream as he signs a recording contract with rap icon 50 Cent's G-Note Records, along with  photo shoots, public appearances and media interviews.
