November 03, 2008 Re, the associate photo editor at Gourmet magazine, found herself transfixed on a mouth-watering creation by food photographer Kan Kanbayashi. When Re pulled the top cover off the 7.5 x 5.5-inch box she found 12 images featuring still lifes of food and objects. The New York-based photographer's contact information was printed below each photograph, along with a note.
