Object of Desire: "Sprinkles" Canon EOS 7D

DECEMBER 13, 2012

By Dan Havlik

It’s up to you to choose what you want do with this candy-covered Canon EOS 7D designed by artist PJ Linden: eat it, take pictures with it or add it to your art collection.

Linden specializes in transforming digital products into playful “tech toys” with 3D paint, and she created this one-of-a-kind 7D DSLR using candy dots, chocolate sauce and sprinkles. She then added a colorful, pebbly texture to the barrel of the 7D’s zoom lens to finish off the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory meets Dylan’s Candy Bar appearance.

On second thought, you might want to put this candied Canon in a safe place if you buy it. Shaking a client’s hand while yours is covered in rainbow sprinkles can’t be good for business.
