DAVID J. CAROL 2013
I think a lot of photographers feel it's important to work on "projects" and to churn out work. They want to submit this work to "places" and show it to "reviewers" to gain recognition. A lot of photographers do these "projects" for the WRONG reasons. They do it to show it to "places" and to show it to "reviewers".
If you're in this for the long haul — for life, forever — then take pictures to show to yourself in 20 years. If you're REALLY in this because its your passion and you must take pictures, then shoot for the you of the future. You're the only one who will really care or get any satisfaction out of it.
