It's an odd thing being a photographer of places and things. I find "stuff" that interest me and then try to photograph them in a way to convey to others how I feel or what I see. But, even though its not really part of my intentions, I also have a document of something that is real. The "thing" may not be there forever...But, the photo continues to exist when the object may not anymore. For me its an interesting and additional value.

This photo was taken on the south shore of Long Island in the winter of 2011 and is one of my favorites. I'm sure it will never look the same again...
